  • Note: The contractor is required to distribute this pamphlet to the homeowners and/or tenants prior to beginning work. Documented proof of receipt must be obtained at least seven (7) days prior to beginning work and must be retained in your records for at least three (3) years.

  • This guide was devloped out of the new regulations adopted October 5, 2011 which allows Certified Renovators to take paint chip samples and send them to a National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP) laboratory for analysis, rather than performing the lead testing themselves with an EPA-approved lead test kit.
